Stamping economics depend on geometry, material, tooling, volume, change control, and inspection.
Materials and process scope
Discuss aluminum stamping, cold-rolled steel stamping, hot-rolled steel plate stamping (conventional stamping, not hot forming), and high-strength steel plate stamping. Bending can also be included in a project review.
Material grade, thickness, geometry, forming sequence, tooling, volume, tolerances, and supplier capability must be confirmed from the drawing before quotation. “Hot-rolled plate stamping” here does not mean heated hot forming.
For high-strength steel or AHSS requests, include the exact grade and material condition. Forming feasibility must be reviewed against the specific drawing and supplier route before quotation; no universal grade range or forming limit is implied.
